Granny's gone and done it again

when did you say you would know your results of the MRI? I have forgotten
Granny, I JUST got a call from my dr's nurse. I have a diagnosis but I don't understand it and it may not help you much either. I asked the nurse a question or two, but got the expected answer: the dr will explain when you see her Thursday. Here is the dx: I have a "small insufficiency fracture of the knee." Dr Google indicates this may be related to bone weakness related to ostoporosis. She also told me I am to STAY OFF of it. Great.

Also, Google says healing can take 6 to 12 months. I sure hope my dr tells me something different. Tbh, I'm a little discouraged right now.
Get all the questions ready you can think of! I think when you ask questions, I think they go more into detail. I hope too, he will give you a more optimistic answer. It's springtime... When we all want to get out there, not be laid up.:hugs

Dogs have been locked up for a half hr. and nurse is a no show so far. I hope Frosty doesn't make a mess in there. She doesn't have a crate/kennel. whatever they are called
Poor dogs! Poor Granny! The least they could do is let you know when they can't make it! I hope they still showed up.

what don't you understand Blue? You have a broken bone that probably a cast wont help. I would assume of because of where its located. I have heard about this before. I could be standing in one spot and fracture my back. Its your arthritis that causes it most but not all of the time. crumbly bones. Do you take calcium tablets?
