Had a huge thunder storm today. I haven't heard thunder that loud ever. It has to be be because of us being so close to these mountains and the canyon. More rain tomorrow.

tis a HUGE no no to scatter ashes in ND. I beleive and I have 4 plots in the Cemetary up home across the isle from Mom and Dad and my Paternal grandparents

Nice! My family are all scattered to heck and gone. I don't think any two are even in the same state. Let's see. A sister in CA, Dad in AZ, a brother in NM, Mom in a different part of NM ... there you go, Mom and bro both in NM. But ... they weren't speaking the last 15 or 20 years of their lives so I don't think it counts.

UPDATE: We're told crews are battling as many as 15 active fires on the Turtle Mountains Sunday amid high winds. State and federal agencies are stepping in to help where needed. This is video of a fire Sunday south of Rolla shared from a viewer.
On the Fort Berthold Reservation, at least 10 agencies responded Sunday to a fire south of New Town.
