Yes that sling has a big built-in pad or pillow to hold your arm away from your body and support it, and that ball to wrap your hand around so your hand does not just hang down limp. Very ergonomic and high-tech.

Sorry about the inconvenience, Chick, but believe me it's better than being blocked up. Hopefully you will find a nice happy medium. I don't know why the loosey gooseys always seem to hit in the middle of the night though. Lol. But they do! Hope you get some rest today.

Is beautiful weather! The rain perked everything up, or was it the nitrogen from the lightning that did the trick? We had lots of beautiful but scary lightning while I was driving in the dark. It made me cringe. But God in his wisdom created everything for a reason. We often forget to be thankful for thunderstorms.

I love a good thunderstorm. Falling asleep to the rain. I always have. I remember there being a huge rainstorm and my daughter and I going out in it with a bottle of shampoo. Neighbors thought I had lost my mind but,to this day I remember how good that felt. It wasn't til this MI that I got too cold to enjoy it.

DH got the sling adjusted for me while I was doing my exercise. I don't think it was put together right resulting in a couple of twists in one of the straps. No wonder it wasn't comfortable.

I'm just tired today, Blue. Gonna try to get tidied up this afternoon. Maybe take a nap.

Lightning somehow, I forget how exactly - releases nitrogen into the air, and the rain drives it into the ground. Thunderstorms actually fertilize the earth.

GC seems to be hurting today too, she's been in her room with the door closed and not responding to texts. Guess I will have to feed the dogs. Wish me luck ...

That is very cool about the lightening. Yes, still hurting but not as bad as yesterday. Thank you for asking. I spilled a ton of coffee on myself. I was holding it on my belly and dozed off. the heat woke me. Not the first time that's happened. At least it wasn't my smoke again.

Finally got my flooring ordered for the kitchen and if should be on it's way. Got the sub flooring from Amazon and then Lowes had the laminate on special. I want a light cooler so the kitchen isn't so dark. It's warm honey oak wood planks. The click and lock ones. So when DH comes home from the hospital I should have the kitchen looking better. I still have to fix the house to the washer.

We will be getting up at 5:00 tomorrow. I'm just so thankful they are making it possible to get the surgery done this week. He will be in the hospital a week for pain management. I feel comfortable he's in good hands
