Me too on IBS, there were also lots of foods to avoid. I have not been eating much protein since it doesn't taste very good to me. Idk if I am actually allergic, but hope to get an epicenter just in case.

You can get a blood test for ut. If you are, you can go into anaphylactic shock eating it. Be careful! Do you mean sn Epi-Pen?

Granny, I thought I snagged the quote of you asking what's in hummus making your mouth burn? Some have red pepper, could be that. Might have lemon juice too.

Recipe for hummus:

Add the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, water, garlic, and salt to a high-speed blender, and process until smooth

So the chickpeas don't turn brown I would think. I love that with naan bread. Can barely eat it though.

Thanks, MC. I know... it's just hard, after a lifetime of doing for everybody else, to not be able to do anything. My butt may be glued to the recliner, not just for an afternoon, but for weeks.

My ortho's nurse called the other day, did I tell y'all this? She's referring me to another ortho in St Louis because "my case is complex, and the dr in St Louis does things" she can't do. This has me a little worried. She is getting me hooked up with home health though.
