Granny's gone and done it again

On March 4, 1989, a racing buffalo named Harvey Wallbanger made his debut at Golden Gate Fields in California, marking the start of his unusual and impressive career. The buffalo, owned, trained, and ridden by T.C. Thorstenson, was pitted against a quarter horse named Two Eyed Burt, who was ridden by "Cowboy" Jack Kaenel, in a thrilling 110-yard sprint down the stretch.

In a race that captured the crowd's attention, Harvey Wallbanger showcased his surprising speed and power, edging out his equine competitor by half a length. Despite being a buffalo, he proved to be a fierce competitor, demonstrating remarkable agility and strength in the race.

At 8 years old and weighing a massive 2,000 pounds, Harvey Wallbanger finished the sprint in an impressive 9.4 seconds. This victory marked his 21st win in 26 races, solidifying his status as a unique and successful racing animal.View attachment 4122898
Very cool! Hey! No jokes tonight? Sorry YOU missed me. hahaa
Robert just took my coffee and ran with it. I tried to get it back but he is too fast for me. I told him it wasn't midnight in Ca. That didn't fly either. :hit ❤️
Anyway, sweet dreams.

And to the rest of you as well. I hope everyone has a good night.
Farms, I do hope your dh does well tomorrow. I just don't know how much we can all suffer in pain til we lose it. :hit❤️
:frow
Thank you. I called the insurance company this morning and they said if the Dr writes a pre-approval he can get one. The bed parts I have is a camping cot and I bought a mattress for it. That bed would be much sturdier and I like the trapeze I left a message on the nurse navigators phone. I'm sure they will write it.
He's scared to come home because he won't have access to pain care. I think this bed would help his morale.
It's hard for me to reassure him since I have no idea what his pain feels like. Then my empathetic side kicks in. But getting things like the hospital bed do help to reassure him. Thank you for your suggestion! ❤️
They will come out 3x a week to change the packing and dressing

Good morning all! We just got home from our visit to the lab and to get chicken feed. I'm getting my first cup of coffee now because we could not have anything before the testing. Will get the results next week. Farms you are doing all you can for your DH. I think the doctor can write a script for morphine for home use. If DH is in a lot of pain when he gets home let the doctor know so he can address the issue.
