Granny's gone and done it again

The machine went off during the night again. I had tried hard to get the Drs and nurses to explain discharge things to me rather then to DH because he doesn't comprehend well. I had some experience with the machine and I had the # to home health so I want worried. But there's always the little things that are good to be reminded about such as.... The machine will need to be charged. We brought a whole cast of supplies and medicine home and the thought didn't occur to me that somewhere hidden in there is a little cord. I found it but had to get out of bed to find it. Giving pain meds during the night will be part of the schedule. Will get used to it
Don't forget to take good care of yourself too, farms! Take that glass of wine, that bubble bath, that nap, whatever you need to keep yourself strong and well, rested and in good spirits. It's important. Don't lose yourself. ❤️

Colon cancer and the driverlalala both run very strong on my side of the family. sisters, father, GM and uncles all wearing that bag. I myself have have pre cancerous polyps removed a couple times. Not being able to potty had me assured they were back for me. I was very happily surprised to wake up today to a clean bill of health
literality a "clean" one. :lau:D

Yay to the clean bill of health granny!!!!!
Still waiting on chicks. The ducklings shipped amazingly. The chicks…I’m a little worried about. Shipping notice was late Wednesday - and haven’t seen any movement on the tracker. :(

The USPS is TERRIBLE on tracking chicks. I have gotten notice that they were in Kansas City and less then 8 hours later my local PO calls to say the chicks are in.

Good morning all.

Ended up with almost 3 inches of rain here and pushing 5 inches at the farm from the last storm system. THANK YOU LORD !!!

ended up sucking about 70 gallons of water out of my basement.

Another system coming in now. I was going to try and get teh blvds mowed this morning but I am NOT doing that wearing a parka and gloves and a woolly hat/cap.

Temp last Sunday was 94* , today currently its 39* and feels like 19*.
