Granny's gone and done it again

Oh Star, I am so happy you get a "do over". Any speckled butt nuggets?
Of course!!! Got three speckled Sussexes. One of them likes to chase around with the ducks.
I'm not convinced that's a roo. Can you have roosters there?
Well. It’s the mystery chick that’s likely to be a roo so they warn. Yes I can have roos. We’ll see as they get older.
My son with Spina Bifida had to have surgery after surgery on a front wound that wouldn't heal. Being paralyzed from the waist down, a stitch or two would open and eventually allow infection back in.
Finally, the surgeon decided to just leave it open and allow it to heal from inside ..up. This opening was across his whole front lower stomach area. He gave me instructions as to how to change it. I hadn't seen it yet. I went to change the packing. I just gasped. I thought, if he was a woman, I'd be seeing a uterus! It was so deep! I also thought, I can't do this. :( I had done so many different surgery bandage changes, but nothing like this. I called the Dr. the next day. He said, well, I can close it if you want, but you know what's been going on with stitches that open up, and it will happen again. I knew. So, I decided to keep doing it. It got easier as I got more used to seeing it.
Then..it started to heal. The Dr. never explained to me how it would look. I got very concerned as it began to look like browned hamburger meat! I thought it should have stayed pink. Off to the Children's Hospital we went. Drs looked. They said looks like it's healing great. 😯
Ok. Took weeks but it healed up to the top and closed. It was good for a long time.
Richard..sits..in a chair all day long. Tummy flap. He's now having sores again. He goes to a clinic for them to take care of it or they come to him. At least they're not as bad as before.
He also had a pilonidal cyst in the back bottom area. This is something anyone that sits for a long period of a time can get. Like all those people sitting, working at a computer all day. Bronwyn has a nice table that will lift up so she can stand and type at times.
Oof. Those suck. I had one my last year of high school. They ended up doing surgery to clean it out and pack it so it would heal from the inside out. Blessedly after that I haven’t had another one.
Kiddo will do fine,@BigBlueHen53. I was far more focused in college. Made the deans list every semester while a C student in High School. Just hated high school to pieces.

DH had to get his drivers license today. Here the give you a printed copy of your proof of license then they mail your new license to you. He asked me what I thought of his 'mug shot' and I had to hesitate. My hubby is a handsome man but this pic was atrocious. All I could blurt out was from the nose down it was great but what's with the Uncle Fester eyes? He hadn't seen the print out yet. took it from me and gasped, Oh My God I've got Uncle Fester eyes! That's what they meant when they said the 'Real' pic would look a lot better. In the mean time he has to deal with looking like a member of the Addams family.
Remind me to show you my visa picture. Still amazed they let me into this country, I look like a serial killer lol.
@pertnear09 we use All (brand) Free laundry detergent. Tide and other laundry soaps also offer Free versions of their products. Free of dyes and fragrances, usually packaged in white. Dryer sheets, same thing. Have done for years. Not familiar with Dreft. Wash his sheets, pillowcases, everything in same.
So my mom has a bunch of allergies. Arm and hammer free and clear is the only easily acquirable “free” detergent that doesn’t give her a reaction.

Ugh I am so screwed at work. My better half just turned in her notice (personal reasons) and…they’re not replacing her.

Accounts payable for the hospital is now going to be me. And only me. Dog help me. I was just feeling like I was getting caught up and my work load was balancing. NOPE!

At least I finally cut off the California job.

But oh my. I am scared. Although the hospital is having difficulties anyway - rural hospitals often do have financial woes so I’m told - income from the Medicare/medicaid patients doesn’t cover costs is a big reason why. We’ve been into talks with a third party for partnership but that’s been stalled and now we just had an election for board members and those elected are very against this acquisition. So we have a high chance of defaulting on a loan and getting our doors closed. Sooooooooo…we’ll see how much longer I have a job anyway.

No stress. None whatsoever.

My SS were silly characters too. Only have one left.

 That's what you get for being so darn efficient. Develop a glazed look and drool.

And make mistakes, turn work in late and cry once in a while!

Oh mercy.
No stress. None whatsoever.

By the Mesolithic era, humans started to develop agriculture. Hunter-gatherers built temporary shelter for hunters who would ambush their prey. Currently, the first evidence of man-made shelter dates back to 400,000 B.C. in Terra Amata, France which served as housing for hunters.

How many of you read ingredients before buying food? Including pet food?
I got some bully slices with salmon, blueberries, chicken cartilage, eggs, liver. Ingredients to help with joints. The dogs absolutely like it and I would like to make it their new treat but first I need to know what the beef pizzle is. I googled it, need I say more?

Edit: I'm going to go wash my hands!
