Granny's gone and done it again

I've used that before as a base in my soup. Pretty handy. Did you add all that stuff in one skillet and what exactly is tofu? A meat substitute right?
Tofu is coagulated soy milk that becomes bean curd. It is usually cut into cubes and used as a meat substitute. I have eaten it a few times and did not care for the texture. It is bland but takes on the flavor of whatever it is cooked with.

I used to be like that. I could take like an hour or more to eat LOL now I eat FAST LOL unless I get distracted by my phone 🤣🙈 but yeah. I think it’s from too many hospitals. You have to eat fast LOL
I guess this slow gut or whatever fancy word they call is is why I have slowed down. Also explains my weight loss. Sometimes it gets so bad they tell you to eat baby food. There is a diet for it and it can sometimes lead to death.

Tofu (Japanese: 豆腐, Hepburn: Tōfu, Korean: 두부; RR: dubu, Chinese: 豆腐; pinyin: dòufu) or bean curd is a food prepared by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curds into solid white blocks of varying softness: silken, soft, firm, and extra (or super) firm. It originated in China and has been consumed in the country for over 2,000 years.

A lot of people don't like the texture, it's kind of soft. I fried some slices in butter tonight and served it with fried mmushrooms and onions. I think DH liked it, I did.
