Granny's gone and done it again

I've been trying to wean DH from regular morphine to Tylenol. They ordered 2/500mg Tylenol every 8 hours besides morphine. I told him morphine affects the mind, if he can stick to Tylenol, do so. Except for dressing changes when he gets both in addition to Clonazepam. I got him liquid Tylenol and give him 15 ml every 4 hours as needed. He will take Tylenol if it's liquid He still calls me during the night because of pain but day times he has less pain
Neurologist had me trying Clonazepam for my tremors. After mostly sleeping for a week, I said no thanks.

Ya know, I know your right. After you mentioned sticky rice I do remember him asking for it. I don't remember in what context though. A recipe from someone here I think. Either that or he wanted to throw me a challenge. What I read sounded hard to make.
No just buy the precook stuff in a bowl. Add hot water

A friend (from growing up days) passed away from cancer today. My sister told me the morphine was so strong his thinking wasn't clear the past 2 weeks. I guess morphine can do that
I'm sorry you lost your friend. Morphine can have serious side effects like slow, shallow breathing, slow heart rate, seizures, hallucinations, and mood changes. When I was doing hospice care we gave it in small doses every 2 to 3 hours to make the patient comfortable even though it could hasten the end. The 1 time I was given morphine I thought the doctor had sausages where his fingers should have been and there were bugs crawling all over the ceiling of the room.
