I keep falling asleep. It was a long day

They disconnected DH wound vac machine today. The wound is still 3 centimeters deep. They will see if the home nurse will still come. But I will likely be the nurse changing the dressing twice a day for the next 3 weeks till his next appointment
Home care nurses can come to do dressing changes, but it depends on what the insurance/medicare will pay for. It is usually 2 or 3 times per week, Rarely will they pay for daily, much less twice daily changes. Medicare wants the nurse to teach a family member to do the dressing change so they don't have to pay for it. The home care company should provide all the necessary supplies to do the wound care. I know you will be able to do the dressing change. Probably better than some nurses I have known. If we were close I would come help you.

I haven't ever copied and pasted since I learned how to do it in elementary school. I guess I need a teacher to teach me to do it on the computer.

Highlight what you want to copy, right-click the mouse or trackpad, and select “Copy.” Then, right-click where you want to insert the copied information and select “Paste.” Or, press Ctrl+C (Command+C on Mac) to copy and Ctrl+V (Command+V on Mac) to paste.

Long day yesterday and not a good one for me. Nancy came and we took Tom to the Drs. for his arm. His BP was still too low and she cut his water pill and another in half. She said she would sign off on whatever the nurse needs. That was a score! No wound Dr. needed. (Tom wont go)
Coming home Robert was gone and the only dog locked up was his and she was screaming bloody murder. I got her out and the others as well I was hurting really bad. I made it to the back door but couldn't go any further. I sat on a walker that was there and just ugly cried. I had to sit there a long time before I could make it back to my chair.
So that's why I wasn't on much yesterday. Pain
Today, nurse showed up just as I was getting my coffee and she bandaged Tom up and was giving me some advise for him. Then she drops the bomb. Today was her last day. She was a traveling nurse and her contract ran out. They waited too long to ask her to stay as she had already accepted another contract in another state. This really bummed me out.
I have a daughter that is a travel nurse. She does that on the side. She goes to MO. often.
She delivers babies here a few towns over.
