Granny's gone and done it again

I bought Hershey's special dark chocolate and treated myself after seeing the PA. I had a small spot on the main puncture wound that is raw. He thought maybe I had a retained suture so he got out a suture remover pack and went spelunking for it. No topical anesthetic, I just set there like a good little martyr wile he poked around. He never did gind it.

Got to the car and started shoving chocolate in my face. DH gave me a quizzical look and I said that I deserved it. That HURT!

My sweet hubby was at my side every moment when we did some shopping afterwards and he hates shopping. He's been my right hand and sometimes my left over this past month magically appearing when I'm feeding and watering the chickens. And he didn't even fuss at me when I stopped to look at the chicks at Buchheit's. They had fully fledged Dominiqes and Wyandots chicks for $4.99. Crazy cheap. Said they could go straight to somebody's coop...but not mine.

I'm a lucky woman.

We're playing storm dodgeball tonight. Had winds over 50mph earlier and a LOT of rain. Saw where the storms were close to @BigBlueHen53's neck of the woods. Hope everyone's okay.

Nope, those storms are still in the Kansas City area (where YS is based, selling religious lit.). Looks like it won't hit our area until between 9 and 11 a.m. tomorrow morning. Still far enough away that my Weather Dog is not picking up on it yet.

I had to hobble out the front door on two canes today to rescue a couple of sweet little old ladies that got lost in our driveway, once again victims of stupid GPS maps which think this is a through road (it's not!) After they left I noticed my front sidewalk was covered with mulberries and bent down to snag a few of the delicious treats. Ryder, never one to miss a trick, saw what I was doing and quickly began to help himself and then the other two dogs, who have never shown an interest in them, followed suit! I only got about six! :barnie

Frog legs. Yum.
Served them at a place I worked at in the 80's.
DH and I were out riding our motorcycle one afternoon and passed a little restaurant that had a sign out boasting fried frog legs. I insisted on stopping there for dinner so I could order them. Used to have them when I was a kid. Still love them.

You're crazy, girl!

I have Hershey's Dark minis here... sugar free version. :highfive:

This is/was a favorite of mine but I seldom buy or eat candy anymore. I do like cook and serve chocolate pudding . Including the "skin". I will eat the whole box! I normally don't feel like making it though so I don't get it often. Of course Twists fudge and cookies trumps all! :drool

We wouldn't know ... since he only sends it to you.

I'm out for the night, friends. Sammy hears the storm approaching, apparently. He's moving closer to my face. Right now he's in my lap. Soon he'll be on my chest. By morning he could be on my face. If you don't hear from me by 10 a.m. you can hold a requiem for me and know I suffered a Sammy suffocation, lol. :frow:gig
