Got a call this morning. I start PT on Monday morning. 12 days left for the sling. the lady I talked to said "wow you really had a lot done!"

My labs were positive for Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever! I start meds for that tomorrow.

So I had RMSF last June (2024) and had to be treated a second time in November (2024). I am having a ton of neurological issues since. Did it take you awhile to get back to normal?

I had a really good one that I really liked, plastic, worked in the microwave. But I burned it up somehow. So I ordered one like it but it doesn't work nearly as well. So now I'm going old school and trying to learn how to cook it in a pan. I don't have room in my kitchen for another plug-in appliance.

I really like rice! I have a small rice cooker now but for years just cooked it in a heavy bottomed pot. I was looking for some ways to use leftover rice and found this video on Youtube.

I had to laugh at the hostess, if you tied her hands I don't think she could have talked. I have tried some of the pilaf recipes she demonstrated and they turned out good.

Mom said she was all dressed in her finest on the way to church too. She looked in the back seat and told my dad to turn around, they weren't making it that day.

You LIKE the dentist? I don't think I ever met someone that did.

I pretty much meant it's nice having the teeth clean..after..but yeah, I don't mind the dentist. Austin on the other hand. Poor guy.

When my DH#1 used to work away from home I never worried about being home alone. I knew my big dog would frighten away intruders with his mighty bark and my little dog would ankle bite them while I called 911. Nobody ever bothered me though.

Time to pan the bread dough.

I'm thinking my little ones would act different in a bad situation. Especially Bella. She's already nipped at a person that was strange to her. That surprised me. Only happened the once that I saw. I can tell she watches me to see how I respond to the person, or what I say to her.

I know you're done by now, but doing rice stove top, I've learned to use a bit more water than it calls for and, cook it a little longer too.
