Granny's gone and done it again

boy this quote is from a ways back. Just now popping up. I don't like and cant eat boiled eggs. They make me very sick. The yolks are fine and I love that part

He has slept all day again. He wakes up long enough to potty then sleep again. This is the 2nd day he hasn't wanted dinner.
Makes you feel so helpless but sometimes there is just nothing you can do about it. He has had a good full life. We will all depart this life sometime. I know not everyone agrees, but I believe if he doesn't want to go there ER, it may be emotionally difficult for you when you want to help him, but I have the deepest respect for you for upholding his wishes.

The government keeps saying people over 60 are too old to fight. Really?
Let’s rethink that.
Instead of sending 18-year-olds into battle, why not recruit the folks who’ve already seen some stuff?
Let’s be honest—guys over 60 would crush it out there.
Here’s why:
1. Focus Like a Laser Beam
🔍

Researchers say young guys think about romance every 10 seconds.
Us older folks? Maybe twice a day—on a good day.
That gives us 28,000 more seconds to focus on the mission.
That’s a tactical advantage.
2. We’re Already Cranky
😡

A cranky soldier is a dangerous one.
“My knees hurt.”
“This uniform itches.”
“I haven’t had a good night’s sleep since 1992.”
We're already irritated—give us a rifle and point us at the problem.
3. Early Risers by Nature
☀️

Young guys sleep ‘til noon.
We’re up at 5:30 a.m. whether we want to be or not.
Might as well be up defending the nation if we’re awake anyway.
4. Intelligence Protection via Memory Loss
🤷‍♂️

If we get captured? Good luck.
We forgot your name ten minutes after meeting you.
We can’t spill secrets—we don’t remember them.
5. Boot Camp? Been There.
Yelling? Pfft. That’s called “Tuesday.”
Soft food? Bring it on.
Loud noises? Half of us are deaf anyway.
Pushups? Not unless we drop a sandwich.
6. Realistic Expectations
🎯

Let’s face it: We’re not trying to outrun a bullet.
We know better.
We’ll just out-think it.
We’ve survived lawn darts, lead paint, and riding in cars without seatbelts.
We’re built for this.
7. Life Experience + No Fear
We’ve already been through marriages, mortgages, colonoscopies, and in-laws.
Terrorists don’t scare us.
We’ve faced worse... and paid for it on a credit card.
8. And Don’t Forget the Women!
👵
⚠️

Recruit women over 50 — especially the ones going through menopause.
You want fierce?
Try arguing with a woman holding a hot flash in one hand and a shotgun in the other.
Border security would be handled in one night.
No questions asked.
---
Final Thought:
Forget drones.
Send in the Boomers.
We're awake, we're annoyed, and we’ve got nothing left to lose but our patience.
