I'm trying to take Nordic Naturals (fantastic brand, btw) fish oil for fibromyalgia inflammation, and I can't do it. The viscosity of the oil makes me want to vomit. Or are you using soft gels?

Do you burp fish? I tried taking fish oil gels, can't remember the brand but I was so glad when I ran out of them because they made me burp fish . I like the taste of fish but not when I burp it

I told him how sensitive I am to medication and some vitamins. This is the brand that he loves. I just ordered it today. And like I said, going to start low. We'll see. ( no pun intended. ) No wait..maybe.

He told me this could happen and to eat when I take them. Hope that helps. Sounds yucky. I didn't burp that when I took a different kind.

My eye is no longer inflamed! Still have dry eye. No tears. He suggested Omega 3! Nordic Naturals. 2,000 to 3,000 mg
I'm going to start with 1,000. Supposed to help bring back tears. Eat with food. Like my potassium.

Is this a capsule, Cynthia? Where do you get it? I mean is it OTC or do you have to order it?

I was Rx'd a certain Omega 3 capsule but it was krill-based which is basically a shellfish and I didn't want to take it. I found one that's salmon-based, and even better my pharmacist told me to keep it in the freezer, then you don't get fishy burps.

The ones I still have in the cabinet are gels also. They didn't bother me, but they're different.

This dr wants me to take the EPA..DHA.

I'm also very sensitive to medications. Then there's also many meds that I cannot take because it'll make the Myasthenia gravis flare up. Even something as simple as taking a Benadryl two days in a row. Usually I will take a Benadryl with two ibuprofen to get rid of a migraine. And I'm allergic to fish.

Surprisingly, no fish burps. It just feels like licking a guppy straight out of a mucky pond.
