Granny's gone and done it again

Good night, Granny. I was texting a dear friend who was letting me know her 15-yo dog has tumors in hs spleen and ... she's not going to have surgery done on him. He's been a good companion to her, she's going to miss him.

We have some severe weather coming tomorrow late afternoon/ evening. Sammy's vet gave me some Gabapentin to hopefully get him through it. Do y'all think it will do him any good? And if it's not enough, I can give him Benadryl on top of it, right?

That's the perfect way to do it! My husband is a retired eye doc and that is what we told patients to do if they were first get progressive lenses. Don't know why it works, it just does.

Mine fluctuate also. I think my trouble is caused by my allergies though. DH says I get a mucus film over my eyes and it makes my vision blurry. Try using liquid tears in your eyes and see if that helps. That is what I use and yep, it does help.
Ok..not understanding the, wait until the next morning. Explain. Please. 😁
That mucus film. I was told by an eye dr. that it come from under the eyelid. We have things that fill. If you rub your eyes you may get that blurry look.
Here, I looked it up.
Your eyelids don't have "pockets" in the way you might imagine, but they do have structures responsible for producing mucus and other substances that can sometimes collect and form what you've referred to as a "mucus blurb".

But, your body screams that you have. PT is usually..somewhat painful. Need some rest after. :)
Hi Cynthia. My PT is very personable. We joke and laugh and have a good time. But he keeps me moving and working, he challenges me. He ... pushes me ... to do, just a few more. Maybe? Do I think I can?And of course I can! Easy peasy! But. After he leaves I wonder, what was I thinking. Nap time. Snoring for two hours. Lol. I didn't feel it at the time. But later, the fatigue sets in. Total slump. Worth it, though. I am getting stronger! I'll be walking in no time! Running marathons! Well. Maybe not.

I couldn't get used to the progressive so I look like the old lady that I am with the tri focals lol. My vision fluctuates because of the Myasthenia gravis, double vision. It is what it is. I've learned how to manage with it. I could get prisms but not ready to make that leap yet. My eye DR wants me to wait as long as possible before trying those. I do use thera tears also.
Prism is what I have now. I have a small amount of BVD..but had more of a tracking problem. He had me take my glasses off when I told him I thought I was done with them, asks, do you see double? I say no. He had told me that folks can be corrected with them for a bit. He said I should transfer pretty easy to the new prescription. I can NOT do progressive. Drives me nuts. I do have bifocal but I have the line waay low. I don't like it up so high that I can see the line while walking around. Works great.
Hill, I looked up your illness. It sounds pretty scary. I know everyone is different when diagnosed with an illness. Do you have problems swallowing?
I have a bit of dysphagia. It can be scary. I had my esophagus stretched once, helped a lot! Im thinking it's time again.
I'm so sorry you have this illness. 😔

Hmm..I think i may ask for some if that for my Cooper. For the 4th. Fireworks scare him so.
I wouldn't give the Benadryl too. Gabapentin worked fir my Gracie for pain. Seemed strong.
