Ok..not understanding the, wait until the next morning. Explain. Please. 😁
That mucus film. I was told by an eye dr. that it come from under the eyelid. We have things that fill. If you rub your eyes you may get that blurry look.
Here, I looked it up.
Your eyelids don't have "pockets" in the way you might imagine, but they do have structures responsible for producing mucus and other substances that can sometimes collect and form what you've referred to as a "mucus blurb".
He's sitting here next to me so I asked him. He says that if people don't have problems, it's not necessary to wait, but if a patient was having problems getting used to progressive lenses he suggested they try their new lenses after a good night's sleep. Sleep causes your brain to do a bit of a reset. He can't scientifically explain it or why it works but it does seem to work.

First time I had progressives it took me about 3 weeks to get used to them and I got up one morning after a good night's sleep, put them on and no more problems. :idunno quien sabe? Who knows. Sometimes things just work because they do.

Our morning started out with a bang at 5:AM. Our 25 year old diabetic kitty's blood sugar was running 'high' which on our glucometer means it is over 600. He followed DH out to the kitchen and jumped up on the island while he loaded up his insulin and gave it to him along with some food, he nibbled the food, laid down on his side as was 75% 'out of it'. DH got me up. I checked him over, heart was a bit fast but regular, breathing fine, he was just mostly unconscious.
I stood petting him us both thinking that this was it for him and I told him we weren't ready for him to go. Who was going to aggravate me stealing food from the other cats if he was gone? About that time he let out a MEOW! and woke up, got up and was sitting beside his food bowl looking a bit like, 'what happened?' Within 10 minutes he was happily chowing down and mostly back to his old self.

I told DH that I knew what was wrong with him at that point. He was having a hyperglycemic crisis. The insulin was kicking in and he was back to normal now.

Nothing like starting out the morning with a medical crisis.

But, your body screams that you have. PT is usually..somewhat painful. Need some rest after. :)
Boy, that's an understatement.

My session yesterday was 40 minutes. Afterwards the therapist (aka Sadist) told me to lay back and rest. Probably could have rested better if they didn't have me laying on one of those gawdawful padded tables that really scream at you if you have problems with back pain. Sigh. Felt like I had ran a marathon when I dragged my way to the car. DH grabbed a bag of gummy bears candy at Tractor Supply and since I had missed lunch started munching on those. Felt better once my blood sugar spiked but later, fell asleep reading again later. Will probably do that again tonight.

I might try that Nordic Naturals stuff. I can’t really cry anymore. More than like two tears LOL although I did cry a little bit more last week (a week ago today actually, I looked it up LOL) and that was definitely more than two tears but still NOT a lot or for a long time. LOL anyways, I gotta check it doesn’t interact with my meds. But then DEF taking it LOL

Long time no chat! I haven’t been active on BYC for months now. Anyone know of any affordable places to get frozen de@d mallards or pheasants? I have a 6 month old duck dog I just started doing field clinics with. So I need birds to practice with.
