He's sitting here next to me so I asked him. He says that if people don't have problems, it's not necessary to wait, but if a patient was having problems getting used to progressive lenses he suggested they try their new lenses after a good night's sleep. Sleep causes your brain to do a bit of a reset. He can't scientifically explain it or why it works but it does seem to work.Ok..not understanding the, wait until the next morning. Explain. Please.
That mucus film. I was told by an eye dr. that it come from under the eyelid. We have things that fill. If you rub your eyes you may get that blurry look.
Here, I looked it up.
Your eyelids don't have "pockets" in the way you might imagine, but they do have structures responsible for producing mucus and other substances that can sometimes collect and form what you've referred to as a "mucus blurb".
