Granny's gone and done it again

Anyone ever try to do something with someone who has problems comprehending? Buying a car like that must be one of the hardest things you can ever do. I know, it was my choice to have DH with me because I knew the experience would help him think anything other then his health. But you don't want the car dealer to know everything about your motivation because you want some leverage when it comes to negotiations. So I had to explain to DH why we do this or that and the car dealer took advantage of the moment. I was really stressed out but still happy we did it. Now I'm glad we finally picked it up so DH can stop asking me when we will pick it up. He can sit in it to take naps or just to experience the ecstacy of new ownership. How ever he chooses to do it, it has served the purpose, it has filled his mind with good thoughts

We have some severe weather coming tomorrow late afternoon/ evening. Sammy's vet gave me some Gabapentin to hopefully get him through it. Do y'all think it will do him any good? And if it's not enough, I can give him Benadryl on top of it, right?
Ask your vet

I guess I don’t understand. I thought he had a new truck before?

Prism is what I have now. I have a small amount of BVD..but had more of a tracking problem. He had me take my glasses off when I told him I thought I was done with them, asks, do you see double? I say no. He had told me that folks can be corrected with them for a bit. He said I should transfer pretty easy to the new prescription. I can NOT do progressive. Drives me nuts. I do have bifocal but I have the line waay low. I don't like it up so high that I can see the line while walking around. Works great.
Hill, I looked up your illness. It sounds pretty scary. I know everyone is different when diagnosed with an illness. Do you have problems swallowing?
I have a bit of dysphagia. It can be scary. I had my esophagus stretched once, helped a lot! Im thinking it's time again.
I'm so sorry you have this illness. 😔
I do have trouble swallowing at times. MG has only been scary for me one time. After I got COVID. I recovered from COVID but I was so weak, voice was hoarse and I had trouble swallowing and getting my breath. Ended up in the hospital for 5 days of IVIG. Took me awhile to get back to my normal. It is what it is. I'm still alive 💪 There's worse things other people have to deal with so I try to count my blessings.
My sister has had to have her esophagus stretched too.

This brought back memories of after my DH#1 had his bone marrow transplant. After we came home from Seattle a friend wanted us to buy his old banger pickup. #1 said it was a POS and he didn't want it but he decided to drive it anyway. He was highly medicated and not thinking clearly at all, he should not have been driving but he was one of those stubborn men you can't tell anything. Well he ended up buying it. I could not stop him. Next morning he says to me, what a terrible dream he had. He dreamed he bought that stupid POS truck of Larry's. Guess what, husband ... lol.

The Fuller building in 1903. With the building's resemblance to a clothes iron, it was nicknamed "Flatiron building". After it's completion in 1902, it was one of the tallest buildings in New York city. With 20 floors and a height of 285 feet, it's one of the city's oldest surviving skyscrapers and has been designated as a NYC landmark and a national historic landmark.

What? How??? It looks impossible to build much less still be standing!
