Granny's gone and done it again

maybe mowing that lawn all those years using a gas push mower is what has made your DH reach 70. Just thinkin....
Yeah, I'm aware .... but mercy, not in these temps! He does the big blocks with the rider now, uses the push mower for detail work. Comes in looking like he's been swimming in a pond.

Sending prayers that the shots give you relief, @Cynthia12. And Kudos on not having to use the nitro tablets. Says you are doing something right.

As for the exercise. I'm still having pain at almost 7 weeks so I sure as heck don't need an exercise to make it worse. Last night I turned over in bed and tried to hug my pillow with my right arm. Woke myself up going OW OW OW!!!!!! Plus this isn't my first rodeo with PT so I always do for myself like I used to do for my patients and I take my RX pain meds before I do my routine.

This new exercise was #5 and I don't have any problems with the other four. In fact I'm making progress with them so I'm not too shook up about ditching one.

This post is gonna take me forever...ok, to start off, I asked Nancy to take me to the bank. I had to get cash for Robert to grocery shop with and I didn't have any more checks for his account.(ordered 2 weeks ago) I cut my arm and it was bleeding. Did I tell Yall she got ANOTHER new car? anyway, she tells me to get a wipe from the glove box. I grabbed one and also had a lit smoke in my hand. That thing went up in a huge ball of fire! It was burning my hand and somehow my wrist of my other arm before I could get it to the floor burning my thigh on the way down where I was able to finally stomp it out. My finger (the one with the gross nail) is hurting badly, Pretty sure it cauterized my wound on my wrist though. No fresh blood there. She is yelling at me to lick the blood and suck on the gross finger. I said Lady, if you think I am putting any part of either one of those in my mouth your crazy! We get to the bank and ya, Happy Juneteenth. They are closed.
we get home and I sign a blank check and tell Kevin they will run it thru the machine and it will be ok. It wasn't. They ID him and tell him it doesn't match the check so Robert pays for everything and there is an IOU for me for $150. on the fridge.
Anyway we finally take off to the hospital. Not great news past this point of my post. Kidney Dr. came in and said he was worse BUT first time seeing Tom and I don't think he even looked at the records. Finally get NP in for the Dr that has been treating Tom. She tells me his blood work has been trending up. She double checked it. So final say will be up to urology but she said Tom is not a candidate for surgery and because I am refusing rehab they will plan on sending him home but he will have to wear this Foley for the rest of his life.
He will get it changed once a month. Nothing they can do about the blockage from his prostrate. Tom has refused food all day so I scored him 2 insures and he drank them both.
Nancy and I went to all you can eat Chinese and I couldn't eat. everything tasted terrible to me.
I'm home and in pain. He asked me if I was coming back tomorrow and I had to tell him I just didn't know. His DD is telling me she will be here tomorrow night and stay one day

Ahhhhh Missouri summers. One must experience one to appreciate them.

My husband goes out with a hoody long sleeved t-shirt and a big brimmed hat and leather gloves when he goes out to mow because of his skin cancer problems. He comes in looking melted. Makes me wish our tractor cab was enclosed and had AC in it.

I do know about Missouri summers. We lived in NW Missouri for 12 years. One year the high for the month of January was 0 and the low in August was 90. Then there is the tornado threat, the constant wind off the plains and the ice/snow in the winter. I miss the friends we had there, but not the weather.

Oh and my desert was calling the po-po. Some askhole was in the Chinese place stuffing their gut while their dog was locked up in their car. It was a huge furry dog and it was panting really hard and crying loudly. Broke my heart. They took the plate # and car description and my name. Said they would be right there so we left. Nancy couldn't wait to get outta there. I wanted to wait so I will never know the end of that story now.
