Granny's gone and done it again

Afternoon everyone. We have a heat advisory out for tomorrow here also. Naturally I have a PT appointment at 11. Speaking of which. Had a different therapist on Tuesday. He gave me a new exercise to do that I knew was going to cause me trouble and yep, so it is. Sounds pretty benign. I have to lay on my back with a cane across my belly, grasp the cane where it meets my body and straight arm the cane over my head to the count of three and then return it across my belly. My shoulder is okay with it but my biceps where they repaired it has me almost in tears. Tried reducing the number, tried holding the cane differently. Hells no, my arm says so I'm not doing it any more till I see them tomorrow.

We got the AC in the window this afternoon. Always fun.....not but temps in the 90s for the next few days kinda made it a necessary pain in the backside.

Thundershirts for dogs. Check Ebay. Usually can find some there more reasonable than new ones.

@BigBlueHen53 maybe mowing that lawn all those years using a gas push mower is what has made your DH reach 70. Just thinkin....

@Granny Hatchet I hope to high heaven that you have nitroglycerine pills on hand to take when you have that chest and jaw pain. Sounds suspiciously like angina to me but I'm no doctor.

@CapricornFarm, how the heck are ya girl? Feeling better I hope. Good to see you on the forum.
No, I think it's Lyme Disease still kicking the stuffing out of me. So tired all the time. I am still getting bitten by ticks whether I go outside or not. The dogs bring in extra ticks to share. Sigh.

Is Kathy Bates Young enough to be Andy Griffith's granddaughter?
No idea. I enjoyed the original Matlock (MIL watched it) and I really like this one, too. Kathy Bates is a heckuva actor.

Dang, Cap! That stinks. We use Simparica Trio on ours and I never see ticks on them. It protects them from fleas, ticks, intestinal worms, heartworms and as far as I know vampires and zombies too.

Howdys all, busy day for the first half anyway. I need to go to both towns. First town to bank, gas, and smokes then need to be in Madison at 1pm to meet Roberts worker and then to visit Tom and maybe some lunch or dinner afterwards.
Tom didn't eat anything yesterday except 2 insures I gave him. IDK about today.
Anyway, I need to get my shoes and hit the road. Its very hot out. Worse than yesterday.
Y'all hopefully have a good day. :frow ❤️

Simpatico has made many dogs seize.
I don’t recommend the trios.
Glad your dogs don’t have any problems with it.

How are you
I'm having a pretty good day. Working on canning some tomatoes and peppers from the garden. Made a stir-fry for lunch: cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, sweet and spicy peppers, onion and celery. Seasoned it with some chopped ham, salt, garlic, basil and rosemary. It turned out very well and I love 1 pot meals. Hope you are having a good day, Shrek.
