@twisted-acres-farm so sorry to hear about the loss of the 6 head of cattle. Our mail lady raises Simmental cattle, some heifers going for up to 32,000 dollars. They lost one of their best bulls last summer from the heat then shortly after she went home after work and noticed one of their preggers cows due to calve any day laying on the top of a hill behind their house. She was hoping she had just dropped the calf and was standing watching for it and when she didn't see any calf or the mom moving, she hiked back to see what was going on.

Cow was dead. Hadn't given birth. Was alive when she left for work that morning. When she checked her over she found that the cow had taken a hit to the side of her head probably by another cow slinging it's head around and hitting the other cow in the head.

Animals can sure figure out imaginative ways to end their existence.

Got home from PT about noon. I graduated from stretching to isometric exercises. I'd say YAY! but the therapist warned me they were going to hurt.....yep, they do. No pain no gain......

Hi all, Great pictures Twist.Congrats on 6 new yaks!
So tired today. I went to bed early and slept til 8. about 8 hrs. Really dragging today. Nurse came and said Toms butt sore looked better. Umm... this was his first trip out here. A speech therapist is supposed to come as well for cognitive ability. He has figured out how to get out of bed and I found him in his chair sleeping when I came from my room. He has slept all day so far.
