Is the doctor's office in a building associated with the hospital? If it is call the administration office and tell them the problem. They may have assistance programs or know how you can get help. Is there a state agency on aging in Indiana? or call your local state representative, maybe they can help or at least give you some idea of who to call. Just trying to think of ways to help since I'm not close enough to come take you myself.

Yes it is. I will call and see what I can find out. Thanks. I need to be careful and not stir the pot because my Dr. got upset w/ me for not putting him in a home. Said I wasn't able to take care of him or myself.

Thanks. Yeah, it’s funny because I can call doctor’s offices, the vet, etc. on my own now (well, for a while now) or talk to them if they call me but yet this… IDK. This is different. Harder. I think because it involves feelings/emotions/mental health and I’ve always stuffed everything down until fairly recently and still do a lot

Feeling a hair better . This was a really rough day. Tom too. He looks very weak in his eyes. Well, He IS very weak. Been thinking all day on how I am going to get him from the van to the Drs. door. First one wed. is in the hospital of course. Thinking I need to drive to the front door and get him in a chair then go park and figure out how Im getting to the doors and thru the hospital. Same problem on the 7th different hospital and they will not help. I have asked already. Then he has one on the 15th but I have 2 before that. Killing me.

They won’t help? This outfit I am with now are almost annoying asking before every appt, will you help or special accommodations. I thought everyone did this now.
