I feed one of mine bites of what Im eating. He is a huge cat but all muscle. Fat girl doesn't get anything from me. She eats her kibbles and I see them both sometimes in the dogs kibbleAnd! She qets a quarter cup a day of diet food!
No people food for any of our critters. I have a strict "equal bites" policy. If you give an animal a portion of your dinner, you 're required to eat an equal amount of theirs. And also clean up after him when he pukes. And the cats can't get into the dogs' food because the dogs eat at certain times only and they clean it all up! Jenny gets 1 cup, twice a day (and i have to cut her back a bit, I see she's gaining weight too) and Sammy gets half a cup, twice a day. I think Ryder gets about 3/4 c, twice daily. Melissa says he eats slow as he has to examine every kernel.I feed one of mine bites of what Im eating. He is a huge cat but all muscle. Fat girl doesn't get anything from me. The only one here that pukes (and its often) is the strictly kibble cat. I cant get the dogs to eat all at once. They are nibblers. No people food for any of our critters. Oof. Infection in his catheter, Granny? This has not been a good day for many here today.
I did get some good news. I was telling my Nancy about me trying to figure out how I was going to get Tom and myself thru the hospital and she offered to take us.
Tom has been in bad pain today. I called his Dr. and she said to give him a PP. He hasn't had one in a very long time. I also discovered he has infection. No wonder the poor guy is in pain. He went to bed at 5pm. I've checked on him a couple times. He is sleeping

We feed them in their own rooms and they get about five minutes to eat, then their food goes away. After about two days of this they learn to eat when it's available. Dog food always available is an open invitation to ants, roaches, mice and rats. The only one here that pukes (and its often) is the strictly kibble cat. I cant get the dogs to eat all at once.
