Headed to Cape to see orthopedic surgeon. DH taking another day off work to drive me. I thought GC was going to drive me but he insisted. My hero. This time I remembered my new donut pillow. Never leaving home without it again!

I'm so sad!
My grandson in Houston is on probation. I had to write a letter to his PO asking permission for him to come visit. I was sure he'd get permission. But.... sadly ... he did not. So not only are my plans for this wonderful visit, and my heart, shattered, but I am also out $277 for his plane ticket. Which is non-refundable. And I think also non-transferable. Which, if it were not, I would have his mom, my daughter, use. WHY did I buy the ticket before getting permission? Because I didn't know, that's why! I didn't know he was on probation. I didn't know he needed permission till after the fact. And now I'm crushed.

Sounds like you have started off a busy day. I've got to have a kitchen day today. I have peppers and tomatoes to deal with and I want to make zucchini bread. Laundry is already started and morning chores are done.

I love zucchini bread. I think you might be the only one here that knows how to spell it. I call it z squash. lol Or maybe everyone does except me. And, I forgot the laundry. sigh... Think I better call her. She always calls if late
