Sadness, Not good news today. Dr. said the risk of surgery was too big for him. His declining health has a lot to do with it. He told me Toms aortic ?? Is full of blockages to go along with all the rest of his problems. He didn't even want to test Tom to see if his bladder would work. He likened his bladder to a tire that's about to blow and said the only thing to be done was the Cath. and he would need to wear it the rest of his life. I will have to be removed and replaced every 4 weeks

Oh granny. I am sorry. It is hell getting old. I am thankful we are living longer but our body parts are falling apart.

When I worked in the ER we had a gunshot victim walk in with a bullet wound on the top of his head. He was in a crowd of people shooting guns into the air. Bullet came down and lodged in his head. Didn't penetrate the skull (he was lucky) but bled very bad and gave him a concussion.
It's outlawed here because it killed a girl. The guy in this story was extremely lucky or just had a very hard skull.

Aw, Granny, sad news indeed. Aortic valve? In his heart? Aortic root, where the aorta leaves the heart and connects to the rest of the body? Abdominal aorta, down lower?
