Granny's gone and done it again

Hi! How are you today? Hope you are thinking joyful thoughts.
I’m okay. Better since I met with my outreach worker today and she gave me a ride home and then we went for a walk together LOL and I’m meeting her again tomorrow. And she also told me that one of the clinicians I really like/know well and saw briefly today is working the on call number this weekend. So that made me feel better LOL I might actually call it now 🤣 not ONLY because they’re working, obviously, and only if I actually feel I need it but still LOL I’m less afraid to now.

@BigBlueHen53 I went through the weight challenge 4 years ago. It was a choice, either drop at least 25 pounds or go on statins. I couldn't tolerate the statins so I chose the weight loss. It was 'hades'. Doctor gave me 8 weeks but I did it. Then I lost another 5. I lost a bit more with the surgery pain being the most likely cause. I was up 8 ounces this morning to 117.6. And that is with me not being on my diet since the surgery.

If anybody asks me how I got through this besides German/Cherokee stubbornness, my reply is, Red Licorice and Gummy Bears.

Finally I feel where I'm at the point where I don't need to face each exercise routine with a sugar buzz so tomorrow I'm eliminating those to confectionary delights from my diet and eating healthy again.

You will do it, Blue. Now you know what is at stake and what you have to gain with the weight loss. You could eliminate the need for a knee replacement. Your determination and kind words honor me. Bless you my friend.

My brother went from 12 ciggies a day to 2 a day 15 yrs ago.
I can be done with willpower.
Be positive, and think what else you can spend the money on. :wee

Lawyers to keep me out of jail.
