Okay! Bread dough is in the oven doing its first rise. I love this ubben, it has a "bread proofing" setting! So I can sit down for an hour and ... watch a cooking show, what else!

Nope, it is a redbud tree and those are redbud suckers growing up around it. They can't hurt it, redbuds are hardy and some people consider them pests. The chickens are fertilizing and cultivating it!

I didn't know you had to put it in the oven to rise!

I used to put it in the oven and turn the light on, you just want it barely warm. But now the light bulbs don't put out any heat. Lol, I could just put it on the back porch, it's 90° out there!
