Had to go and feed and water all Mum's birds this morning - she went splat on the floor in the wee small hours and got carted off to hospital in the ambulance to sew her hand up (20 stitches) Her reaction? Good thing she's a lefty.
She's tough as old boots for someone in her 90s.
Wouldn't ring and disturb us, even though we live less than 5kms away, because of the hour.
So I did not find out till she realised she needed me to come ant tend the birds.

Same here you two. Don't like asking for help.
Not much going on here today. Guy is coming to spray the lawn. I get it done 4 times a year. We have wild Morning Glories that are quite invasive here. And, this yard had some thistle growing in it. Still working on getting rid of it. Just a few stubborn small ones left. I've stepped on one barefoot a couple of times.
Have some fires close about in the mountains. Sky looks eerie a d can smell it at times. One area took out quite a few homes.
I've been doing better with the last shots.
95 today. Thankful for air conditioning.
