Today was my son Richard's birthday. The son with Spina Bifida. Boy, the memories of the night he was born and then 10 days later.
He's 44 now.

Not me. Tried. Can't. Got up. Came back to bed. Trying again. Wish me luck.

me 3 or was it 4? Rough night awake every hour on the hr. til about 6am and slept til 9.

Not last night. Not today so far. My leg is noticeably different. Not screaming after 5 mins. of standing. What he set out to do he did!

Morning all. Feels like we are living in a sauna right now. 81 degrees and 80% humidity. We have had storms off and on since yesterday. My giant sunflowers pulled themselves out of the ground it's so wet. Guess they are calling for more of the same through tomorrow night into Tuesday. It's been a VERY wet summer here. Usually it's so dry the ground is cracked by now.
