Granny's gone and done it again

I remember that Missouri heat. You feel like you are cooking yourself. Then in January you will be freezing to death! So remember this warmth and save some of it for the winter.
That is how Utah is. Will be 100 tomorrow and Wednesday then 97 for a couple of days. This is when I'm glad I don't have chickens anymore. I don't do heat anymore. There was a time I could spend time in it when out on a lake like Lake Powell. Younger days.

I bit my tongue at some point today or yesterday and it’s just constant pain now. Even just standing here LOL but especially eating. Eating is really painful LOL 😭💔🤣
I bite my tongue on a regular basis. Has been going on for about a year. About the time it starts to heal I bite it again. Not sure if tongue is getting Alzheimers, has an S/M relationship with teeth, or is just bloody stupid.

Well, think I'll share some sweet Bella pictures.
First I'll tell a bit more as to what happened. Remember when Richard came over Friday she was happy to see him! I was amazed that she could even sit up from all of her continuing blood loss. It was good to see her like that. Then Saturday morning was a different story. Didnt want to come out of her kennel. Had to really encourage her. Her eyes. They told the whole story. Such saddened and not so bright eyes. She went out and pottied a bit..straight blood. She ate a few bites. Didnt even want to gulp the water like she had been doing. She went back to her kennel on her own and curled up. I was in the kitchen when I noticed Cooper had his neck stretched forth towards her kennel, frozen. I hurried over. She had thrown up. A lot of blood and the little she had eaten. I went downstairs and told Austin, no more. Called our vet. Not open. Called his phone, no answer but said he's probably on another emergency. I called a vet in the next town over. They were booked but suggested another. We had thought of that one. Mindi's favorite vet. They have more vets. Yes. They could do this for us today. She threw up more blood on the way. And black bile it looked like. I took the papers the emergency place had printed out for me. I'll tell you what. This place was sooo wonderful. Nice room. Treats if the animal would take them.
They walked in quietly. The vet said she read the papers. She right out and talked about bladder cancer. So had my own vet when I called on Thursday. So that tells me the emergency vet didn't want to right out and say..but I had. Anyway on Thursday the Tech was the one that gave us all of the warnings of what was to come. I'm glad. On the way to this other vet on Saturday I could see that her stomach was very bloated. After the vet talked to us how unfortunate that she got this at such an early age, they gave her a shot to relax her. Never had that for my ither dogs. She had thriwn up more thick black stuff. I looked at her stomach under her fur. Blotches all over. It was nice to see her relaxed. The shot gave Autin and me to do some reflections/memories. We had a button to push when we were ready for the vet to come in and administer the stuff into a catheter they had put in after she fell asleep with the shot given. The vet spoke with us again. Asked if we were ready. That stuff works fast. I picked out the box, how her name would look, and a pretty scroll under it. I will be going back to this vet place. This is her as a pup.
