Anyways, what everyone has said @Granny Hatchet about the bleeding. It's probably nothing horrible but you probably reopened a healing area, maybe pulled a suture by straining the area and tore a little skin as a result but I would get it checked out. You shouldn't be bleeding at this stage but you shouldn't be straining so much either...hint .. hint. You know that's why doctors put limitations on you post surgically. For me it was no more than 2 pounds lifting weight with my right arm. Now I'm up to 20.I know it's tough especially when you are trying to help somebody you love.

But give the doc a call and talk to his nurse and yep, you are supposed to be seen within 2 weeks usually post surgically. I saw my surgeon a week post surgically and my PCP 2 weeks.

Granny, I think you need to get that leg looked at ASAP. You can't bleed/ooze under that steri-strip for another 6 weeks before seeing a doctor. You need to get it cleaned up and changed, and whatever's bleeding re-stitched.
