Granny's gone and done it again

I never knew that till now. View attachment 4206938
Our house is white, our roof is white....I HATE these little beasts twice a year, in the fall when they come in looking for a place to hibernate and in the spring when they are wanting to get out but can't remember how they came in.

Hate it when they land on you outside and proceed to chew a hole in your skin. Hate them when they are dive bombing you while you are sitting in your living room and they are attracted by the lights being on

I read that the Japanese beetles or Asian beetles have irregular spots on their backs, the true lady bugs have mirrored identical spots. I've found both in the house....so much for them being the 'good variety' of beetles.

Awwwwwww so cute!!!!!!!!

I think her other dog is a Schnauzer?
Yes, Cooper is as Shnauzer. My Bella that passed was a Shnauzer. I had been looking at Shi Tzu's for a couple of months. And an older one since I had the two. Didnt happen. Thought I was two different times. Had times set up for the first. Then, owner says, I'm sorry we just can't let him go. Our mom will take care of him until we can find a place that allows pets. This is an ideal thing for the dog. :)
Second time. All set up for meeting. Then I get..I regret to tell you that I just can't let her go. She's become quite attached to me. She was selling her for someone else. So..
When Bella passed I thought puppy. Boy she's smart.

They are bad here too Blue. They are attracted to white and invade my house every year.
I guess our lady bugs are the nice ones. If one lands on you, you make a wish and wait for it to fly away for it to come true. They don't bite ever, and they done stink.
When I have my garden and rose bush, I put them on the plants. They eat aphids, that eat the plants.

Home from PT and grocery shopping. Today was 'let's see what we can do to make the old lady hurt' day. I don't mind the exercises but seeing how far I have to go yet is very much a buzz kill.
I got a pass on PT this week, nanner nanner! Heather would have come on Monday and Friday this week but she had some kinnd of meeting on Monday and I was booked solid all week. This morning she called and said she could come but ... she has a cough and did I want her to come wearing a mask, or did I want to skip? I voted skip. :yesss:

When Bella passed I thought puppy. Boy she's smart.
Ahhh, she's a "meant to be!" Congratulations to both of you. ❤️

Hey @Nomadicus, I was just strolling through Greenfire's wish site and saw the price of those Flowery Hen chicks....

Will you adopt us? Promise we won't be a bother. We are hard worker, don't eat much, won't cause no trouble. Please?
We watch for their special sales. 30% to 50% off. Got the Labor Day sale at 30% off. Gas money is the same as having them shipped. Gets Ma out of the kitchen for a half day. Need just a few of one more breed for pets only in an aviary....

@Granny Hatchet. If you get that maid outfit, I demand to see a picture here on BYC.

First we bought 5 Cinnamon Queen pullets from an out of town TSC to put under a couple of broody hens. The hen still share feeding duty to them all now. The Dark Cornish hen protects them under her at night. Both hens fiercely protect them by day from any other hen or rooster that even looks at them. These are the first heavily feather legged Cinnamon Queens I've ever seen. Then I bought 4 ISA brown pullets for a silkie cross broody. She defends them like a game hen. These are the first ISA Browns I've seen to feather out white.
