Granny's gone and done it again

With the coyote population we have here our dogs are always howling....usually in the middle of the night when you are trying to sleep.

@BigBlueHen53 do you have one of those pick up stick grabbers? I have a couple of them. Just got one that is extra long so I can snare things on the top shelf of the cupboards and get them down hopefully without breaking or dropping anything. Don't use them on glass but they save me getting up on a step stool to grab a plastic pitcher and I use them a lot to pick up things off the floor so I don't have to bend over and irritate my hips or back.

We got out and took a walk today without the dogs tagging along. The weather is so beautiful today and we just enjoyed walking our trails. Saw two deer which is always a plus. It was a breath of 'normal' amid a summer that was anything but for us.
I need one of those sticks!

Yes I have a grabber! Use it often. Also have a small step stool, I use that a lot too.

So cool! DH and I walked two laps around the house again. I think maybe I hurt so much yesterday bc I over-exercised too much the day before. Sigh. When I don't hurt, I can over-do, then pay the price later. You know all about that, don't you, MC? 😁

Can't get it for some reason.
I couldn't either, sadness. What was it?

Cooper, our mini Shnauzer that just went in, gets the cysts. The first one was big, had the vet take care of it. Put to sleep, shaved and removed. The second one was smaller so I punctured it and squeezed. Didn't come back. I just found one on his leg, took care of it.
Aren't we nurses bad though? Like one doctor visit, he asked me why I hadn't come in sooner due to my back pain and I replied that well, he knew how we nurses are. He said, yeah, I know, you try every treatment you can think of, get meds from your nurse friends and when they don't work, you FINALLY come to me.

Yep, he knows us.

I've done similar things though and yep, I know my comfort zone and when something is over my head and I need to just call the vet/doctor and let them handle it.

Luckily that doesn't happen too often..:lau
