A pigs heart was offered as a possible fix for Scott's mitral valve repair. Or a metal one. Or hopefully he would have enough extra skin around that area. If not, the surgeon said a pig valve would be best. Scott luckily had enough skin. His heart was working great years later until he passed.

My DH#1 got a pig valve before his liver transplant. Far as I know it lasted him the rest of his life, too.

Where are all of those chickens laying their eggs?

We wait until 4pm to let them free range. They are not laying very much now. Molting. 0 to never more than 2 eggs a day from 7 hens. They have a couple of dozen daughters that should start laying by the end of the month.

Yeah, you would. If you were dying and that was your only option. Heart, lung, sometimes liver or kidney but sometimes these come from living donors.
