My brother's dog in Tucson used to do battle with rattlesnakes on a pretty regular basis. He used to rush him to the vet but it got too expensive. I guess the dog developed a resistance or something because he'd swell up and get sick and miserable for a few days, but recover. Not the smartest dog apparently.

Should have sicced the cat on the snake.

I had DH get me a dozen or so of those big Moonlight peaches Sunday. Gonna make me some peach jam this week. Like maybe tomorrow if they're soft and sweet.

I bought 2 peaches yesterday at a place called, the barn. They get all of the fresh fruit and veggies for the time of year.
I don't make jam. I eat them. Ashton and Jane love them.

Have not made jelly or jam in years. But ... these are the best peaches I've had in years! Can't let them get away! And ... I have been eating these out of hand and in milkshakes for weeks, too!
