turned my niece into a tofu farter. She lived w/us for a while and Mom took her to gather eggs. She said that's the kind you "reach under" and grab.

Yes. My Austin would not eat our eggs as long as I didn't have a rooster. Which wasn't very often, having a rooster.

I got that part. I was puzzled about the "reach under and grab" part. Reach under who and grab what? Was your neice collecting the eggs?
