Granny's gone and done it again

@Granny Hatchet, he could still have a low grade infection a festering bladder infection, even the bed sores. His blood sugar that high is dangerous but you know that. Hopefully the doctor can talk some sense into him. This may sound harsh if it does forgive me but if the doctor tells him he needs to be in the hospital and he refuses can you tell him or get away with telling him gently but firmly that if the doctor says he needs to go to the hospital, you don't want him to come home until he has been there and is feeling better. Voice your worry and concern for him and his well being? Think that would influence him? Oh, dear lady you don't need this stress, I know and you would be feeling better yourself if you knew he was getting the care he needed.

Yeah, I know. DH checked my pupil reaction and field of vision. I didn't have any dizziness or lightheaded. I was oriented to time place and day so I felt pretty safe. No sign of a skull fracture or anything more serious than a bodacious lump and mild headache. I was awake until almost midnight icing my arm down any way and no symptoms got worse. Head ache was gone when I woke up this morning and the lump was reduced over 50%. I think besides hitting the dog with my heel, my sore left foot added to the fall. I'm just lucky I didn't hit the corner of the kitchen island. At my age I need all the brain cells I have.
You're lucky you didn't break a hip at our age!

MC, when he was in rehab he begged me to bring him poison.
Hopefully he doesn't still feel like that. But anyway you know you're not going to do that. Hospice can help him feel better, while keeping him out of the hospital. They can deal with things as they come up. That's what they're there for, and you'll be able to manage his pain, if I recall.

That's right, young lady! And let this be a lesson to you!

(I say, blushing, remembering that I climbed up on a chair the other day to get something off the top of the china closet. Too lazy to go get the step-stool.) 🙄

Can you imagine the outcome if you were to fall? Scary
