The Enderlin Tornado of June 20, 2025 has been retrospectively upgraded to an EF5 rating, indicative of wind speeds exceeding 200 mph. National Weather Service damage survey teams found several tipped over grain hopper cars (that were fully loaded!) and an empty tanker car thrown almost 500 feet. Trees in the area were debarked, and a local farmstead's structure was completely destroyed with the foundation "swept clean", per the NWS.
This storm occurred just under 40 miles southwest of Fargo, on the 68th anniversary of the 1957 Fargo F5 Tornado — North Dakota's most recent F5/EF5 before this year. The Enderlin Tornado is the first EF5 since May 2013, when a similarly powerful event struck the community of Moore, Oklahoma.

We went through that. We had a duplex rental in Wisconsin and a property manager over seeing it. One tenant decided in late fall to stop paying rent. They have an eviction law in WI that you cannot evict a person over the winter months. So, spring comes the next year and the renters disappear....owing us close to 5,000 dollars. I jumped on the manager like his name was Trigger but he kept saying, oh, they are trustworthy, they will pay. Well they didn't and they weren't. Long story short, we wound up firing the manager about 6 months later. Tried to collect on the debt but they couldn't find them so guess who was out the money? Yep, we were.

We sold the duplex about 13 years ago. Felt like the results of a high return laxative. A big relief. I don't envy you, @twisted-acres-farm. :hugs

You should not routinely worm chickens during a molt; instead, you should provide supportive care by increasing protein in their diet with supplements like mealworms and cat food, ensuring proper hydration, and administering a dewormer only if a fecal test confirms a worm infestation.
Yes, they get mealworms daily and are on a 20% protein all-flock formula.
Worming during a molt is generally not recommended, as some dewormers can negatively affect new feather growth, and molting can sometimes be mistaken for a sign of parasites when it is a normal, energy-intensive process
But I SAW a wad of roundworms in their droppings. And I do know what molting is. Okay. Guess I'll wait till molting is done. Thanks.
