the cords are plugged into the car's head bolt heater so that they will start in the morning. For all you southerner's

My silver duck wing roosters are molting. Their coop floor is 80% covered with pretty white and black feathers. I don't know what to do with them. I've tried sweeping them up but they just stick to my broom.
I've had renters, good and bad. Will never do it again though.
We won't either. Like @twisted-acres-farm said. Only good thing that will probably come out of it is a good tax write off. One thing I did do with great enjoyment was turn people into collection. I asked our agency once, what good it did as we seldom if ever saw any money. They told me yeah, but what it did was put a big ding on the person's credit rating...that HAS to be some consolation.

Yeah, tee hee....it was.

Yes, they get mealworms daily and are on a 20% protein all-flock formula.

But I SAW a wad of roundworms in their droppings. And I do know what molting is. Okay. Guess I'll wait till molting is done. Thanks.
If they have a very heavy load (and it sounds like they do) For myself I would give them half dose now then regular does when the molt is over. I wouldn't care about how their feathers came in but most people do

head bolt heater???
depends on the Owner, for rentals it can go either way. For homeowner's they do. It just a standard extension cord ONLY rated of outside use and below zero temps.

A block heater is used in cold climates to warm an engine prior to starting. They are mostly used for car engines; however, they have also been used in aircraft engines.

The most common design of block heater is an electrical heating element embedded in the engine block.
