Morning all, Im still waiting to hear from Toms nurse since 9am. and 2 calls to them.

Well I need to try and go back to sleep now. Maybe the nightmares will not return.

I'm so sorry you have those. Some of them can be really horrible.

Pain Management is about a 140 mile round trip. Exact mileage is variable depending on which route we take.

That's terrible. Nothing closer to home? My primary Dr. took over PM for me. Doesn't hurt to ask and tell them your struggling to get there maybe.

Just heard from nurse. A case worker will be trying to call me sometime this weekend. They are placing him in rehab. They didn't even ask us.

You can refuse, but it really could help if for just a few days. Will let you know how he'll be at home. What kind of help he'll need. Or, you'll need.

Been looking at 4 wheel scooters. Ma needs one now to carry all the things she does when tending the coops. After she gets one I'll also acquire one one way or another. Found one that is made for rough terrain and has a basket on the front for Ma's oxygen concentrator and treats.

Confession time. This could take a while, but A number of years back, I had an "interlude" with someone I was very close to. I then moved away

It's very frustrating when you can't be in the hospital helping with decisions. Especially when he's not able to make decisions himself and even more when he's not capable of telling you what is happening. If he does go to a rehab I hope they move him closer to your home

Had my drain guy's out at the farm on tues to clear the blockage in the yellow house, turns out the septic tank OVER full and flowing back into the basement. They ran their camera down the pipe and then we went outside and with their "magic wand" which was talking to the camera we found the cover ( burried under about 3 inches of dirt) the top of the tank is about 8 and 1/2 feet down. They call their guy who does the sucking and cleaning out of such. He showed up weds and there was over 4 ft of sludge in the tank. Oh and it's a 1,000 gallon tank. Drain guy's $750.00 and sucker man was $360.00

Between the vet and septic bill I think you need another job
