Granny's gone and done it again

Confession time. This could take a while, but number of years back, I had an "interlude" with someone I was very close to. I then moved away in 1998. In 2002 the other person came back around, and told me I had a daughter. I begged for pictures, but was told "No". In 2005, the mom and grandma came out to my house for a planned "meet". The girl was 5 at the time.

Fast forward to 2022... I contacted my (supposed) daughter and told her about myself, and some things about her mom (that only the daughter would know).

I got a couple of hostile phone calls from the mom, but by that time... "the cat was out of the bag".

Imagine my shock and surprise on Easter Sunday of 2022, when the daughter showed up with 3 kids, and her grandma. It took a while to sink in.

Since then... things have gone downhill. I'll put it this way. The rumor AND slander mill is going full speed. Too many people are trying to defame me. It's a big hill to climb.

I was open and honest enough to tell my daughter, that if she didn't want to talk to me... She has the right to put a restraining order against me. It hasn't happened. She is 25.

So it looks like everything is falling apart.

The Grandma and I get along very well, and she knows it's important if I contact her.

I'll end the saga here and now. Thanks for letting me vent.

hi all, Im so very tired still. case manager called telling me they were going to find rehab for Tom then a nursing home. I think I got her set straight. By the time we were done talking she was mentioning hoyer lifts.
