Granny's gone and done it again

Indulgence.
One pear cut in half, cored and slightly hollowed out. I melted two Tbsp of butter and of honey together, added one cup of frozen fruit into the hot butter and honey and heated for one minute.
I put the pear halves into a pan and poured the butter/honey fruit mixture over the halves making sure most of the fruit stayed on the pear halves.
Bake at 350 degrees for thirty minutes.
After removing from the oven add additional fruit as desired and garnish or eat as is. Adding additional fruit gives it a bit more fresh fruit colors. Fruit is blueberries and red raspberries.

Looks so good. What is the garnish? I think one is begonia ? Do you eat that as well?

howdy all, Ruff or rough night. Sucker chair got me about 9 pm then up at midnight, locked up and "attempted to go bad to bed." It was an abject failure. So gave up and back upstairs until about 6 am and managed another hour and a half. Got a little of this and a little of that done the past day and a half. For the first time in 40 years I am NOT hosting a meal on Thanksgiving. Tired of dealing with 5 year old's in adult bodies. Got this from more than one person well if "so and so is coming I won't be there" So I will be getting some Christmas baking done instead. To quote my mother "I have had enough"

I hope you are all have a peaceful and blessed Sunday!!

Krim is being VERY needy so time for a good cuddle and possible nap. So ttfn.
Been there. Every Thanksgiving and Christmas for 20 years with no help but one friend and she did the dishes for around 20 people. I finally said enough. It was someone elses turn and we could all bring a dish. That Thanksgiving Tom, Robert and myself had burger king. It really sucked and hurt my heart but that was the last time for me. I even had Santa there and the children from 3 blocks away would come to sit in his lap. My Santa, real name Nick, was a trooper and his wife was the dish washer.

That looks delicious! I wrote down your instructions so I can try it. Did you use Bartlett pears or a hard pear?

I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year. We shall see how everyone acts. They all already know that I will get my Granny attitude on if they don't behave.
