oh and evidently my yaks are considered an asset and their purchase price is then depreciated over x number of years. I had no idea. SO no on writing off the losses. But the new ones I got can now be depreciated.

My comment (it's full of ingredients) is a quote from an old Peanuts comic strip. Believe it was Linus that said it.well if it didn't have any ingredients it would be empty. (just saying)![]()
Thats why I thought too, thats why I love that picture!I kind of thought the dog was giving you a 'save me look"
What?! I was even up and outside with DH at 5, I didnt see it! I will say we couldn't sleep last night though.Almost 6 a.m. Well, GC and I managed to crawl out of our respective warm beds to go check out the lunar eclipse and were a bit disappointed. The blood moon was just setting below the hills in the west, but it was definitely staining the sky a brilliant blood red as it sank into oblivion. Not really worth getting up for ... but I'm glad I did.
Our Mr. Chicken was crowing, but when I went in he was crowing from snuggled up on the roost between them!I have my chicken monitor on. Shadow is crowing but nobody else seems to be stirring or answering him. It's just barely getting light. It's another 45 minutes before DH gets out there to open them up and put out their feed.
Kind of, she is a Carolina dog (we are pretty sure anyway) they are closest in appearance to basenji and all those Asian dogs, or dingos. She doesn't quite match up with any of the others thoigh. Color, nose angle, head shape, thigh length/angle ect. She matches a Carolina dog to a T, conformation and coloring, right down to some very odd and specific behavioral quarks, like refusing to mate with other dogs (Even ones they like while in heat), going crazy for small animals, being both highly intelligent AND eager to please, terrified of people yet extremely friendly and loyal to "her people", and last but not least "nose holes"Looks like a Shibu Inu!
I believe they said there won't be another until 2029.Almost 6 a.m. Well, GC and I managed to crawl out of our respective warm beds to go check out the lunar eclipse and were a bit disappointed.
