according to what I understand, Cremation is acceptable BUT no dividing up or scattering of ashes.I wish to be cremated as well, Scatter my ashes. Robert said he wouldn't do that and no matter if body or ashes they have to go in the ground. More Catholic??
Some people have their ashes scattered in the ocean or other bodies of water. I had a relative eho was scattered over the Animas River near Farmingon, NM. As far as I know, it's legal. I don't know what the church says. Twist? I don't think God actually needs any of our old body parts to re-create us in the resurrection, since He can make something from nothing anyway.I wish to be cremated as well, Scatter my ashes. Robert said he wouldn't do that and no matter if body or ashes they have to go in the ground. More Catholic??
ya, I was just funning you. Mine isn't nerve damage I guess but clots. They contacted me wanting to change my appt. It takes months to get into him but I wrote him saying I was in mourning and couldn't make appts. They don't stick the whole thing in..I don't think. If you wat h closely it's only going in a shirt ways.
I never got a urn for my sister. Just kept the box that they put her in until I got things squared away for putting her on top of my mother's grave. They bury the urn pretty deep.It is tall. I think it was 6x8x11. Plenty big enough. I'm not really remembering. I want to put his hat he wore all the time either on top or next to it. Robert wants to check into a plot later down the road. I have no idea what those run but bet its not cheap
That's what I figured.according to what I understand, Cremation is acceptable BUT no dividing up or scattering of ashes.
