Granny's gone and done it again

My Melissa went out on a real date tonight. She met this young man in PT. His name is Wyatt. He called several days ago and invited her out to dinner. AND - he came to the house to pick her up!

A far cry from her usual, where she comes to me at 9 pm and says she has "met" a guy on line and she's going out to "hang out" with him meaning they are going to smoke pot somewhere.

And not only did this young man come pick her up, but he also came in to meet me and visited with me a bit.. He's clean cut and healthy looking. Just graduated from police academy, and has a job already ... two towns over. Oh well. I think he'll find his way back over here, lol.

The dance wasn't for silly. I got that wrong. I wondered why they were dressed cute. She showed me some photos of the folks dressed up. The Father Christmas was awesome. Long robes on some. Bronwyn and Austin looked like fancy pirates. Should have gotten a picture.
Got our permanent lights up today. Fun that our neighbor also got his lights up. All white.

There's a plan! And if your house is anything like ours, it's always at least 10° cooler in the basement than upstairs. I can feel the temperature change as I walk down the stairs. Also, do you have an electric blanket or an electric mattress pad? I love mine! The mattress pad is the BEST. Get an electric space heater with a thermostat and one that shuts off if it gets knocked over.

Yup, it’s definitely colder in the basement than upstairs! And I do not have electric anything but that sounds AMAZING LOL and thanks, I’ll look into them

Upstairs in the recliner, I have an electric heated "throw" that I lie on and it keeps me nice and warm. Of course having a Sammy sleeping on the footstool part between my knees also helps, lol!
