Granny's gone and done it again

Hot - it's 35C (95F) here at 9.22AM
We went up to 41C yesterday to end Spring on a hot one - and today is due to start Summer on 40C
Similar to last year.
Apart from the usual frozen shoulder 1st thing in the morning the health is not too bad.
We're talking snow and you're talking heat. ❤️

That's the difference with being on the other side of the world.
Now you know why the British got such a shock when they settled the "Swan River Colony" they arrived in winter - thinking it was summer.
A nice cool wet summer - think again - they almost died the 1st summer.

Yikes! What's the average high temp. there for summer? I put a pillow on each side of me to rest my arms on at night. I've been waking up w/ my hands tightly clenched into a fist.

Summer fluctuates from mid 20s to low 40s - It's just decided to start Summer on a high.
As long as we get no more than 4 days straight of the 40/45s we are fine.
Risk of bird loss if we get consecutive days above 40
40s Celsius?
