Granny's gone and done it again

Smoked turkey will last for
3 to 4 days in the refrigerator. To maximize its shelf life, store it in airtight containers or tightly wrapped in foil, and make sure your refrigerator is at or below

Its not really my Birthday. Its in Jan. and I guess as far as candles go... Just burn the house down.

114 dozen! Each one Better than the last. THEN the fudge. IDK how much of that he makes every Christmas.
got over 20 pounds of it made yesterday.

LOL, Robert said its winter, don't worry about it because it will be gone come spring and the Only other thing he could think of is dig a tunnel
and after the tunnel is done you could rename the coop to Stalag 17 from Hogan's Hero's the names you could give yourself and the chicks would be haliarous

I feel a little foolish talking to an empty thread but maybe someone is lurking.
I'm supposed to get dressed today and go turn paperwork in to Versailles and Lauranceburg. Its not happening. I'm just not ready to face the world even for my own good. All Im doing is making myself feel worse with guilt by not going.
I'm sorry I missed you last night. I was dealing with leftovers in the fridge until after 9. I put 4 plates in the freezer for later and froze 3 portions of ham and a ham bone for later. I made a smoked turkey casserole for supper and froze what was left of it for later. I was busy all day cleaning up after my company left doing laundry and changing bed linens. I loved having everyone here but glad they are gone home so I can get back to my routine.
Granny pace yourself, do things as you feel ready. Be careful on those snowy roads!

We got about 4" very heavy wet snow. It wasn't so much snow but it was the kind that stuck to the shovel and you had to bang the shovel with each load to release the snow

I have read/heard that spraying the shovel with a non-stick spray like Pam helps.
