Granny's gone and done it again

Would it stay fresher unsliced?
Not really. By slicing it I can take out just what I need and toast it, leaving the rest in the freezer. Once you bring the whole loaf out there's condensation and it starts to mold.

Monday went to crap after I got off. some one left the door open to the pop and ice room so of course the ice machine froze and burst pipes. Still have a box fan on it trying to dry it out. also sucked out over 6 gallons of water.
Finished bob catting out the parking lot and getting the curb stops (old bridge supports, power poles flattened on on side and or railroad ties) all pulled out enough that the bobcat and go down and clean out in front of the rooms with having to shovel and Angie can push the maids cart to where she is working.
I need to "dive" into a freezer and pull out a ham. As I need the bone and trimmings for some beans that some people also get for Christmas gifts. I usually end up doing 2 double batches.
I'm sorry you have to deal with idiots! Old saying is that if you work with turkeys it's hard to soar with eagles... or something to that affect.
