carrying a lot of weight on that leg. Between that and arthritis its really not surprising that it would hurtI think if your whole kneecap hurts, it's not a torn meniscus but I don't know what it is. My ortho kept asking me to point to just one spot and I couldn't, but besides the torn meniscus I also had a broken bone in there, so it kinda hurt all over until that healed.
