I'm up all by my lonesome. Lij is sequestered in his room as usual. DH has gone to bed, probably reading. Melissa's over at her friends hanging out, probably till midnight. I have a bottle of bubbly apple juice chilling in the fridge for the ball drop. Sammy snoozing on my ankles, keeping my toesies warm.

He stopped soda. Only coke zero now and he cant eat many things because of his Crohn's but after that .....

I love spinach dip! This is the recipe I use: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/22617/best-spinach-dip-ever/
You can cut the amount of ingredients in half so it doesn't make such a big bowl full. Also I don't use bread, just eat it with crackers or chips.

Making a pot of black-eyed peas for New Year's dinner. Anybody else have New Year's traditional foods? Melissa does not care for BEP, but she always eats one because it's tradition, lol. The rest of us like them.

I love them with a mess of greens. Brings you prosperity in the new year.
